Please select a treatment below to read about the possible risk and safety guidance.
Possible Risks
Most complications from eyelash extensions result from a skin reaction or allergy to the chemicals used in the glue adhesive.
Symptoms you may experience include:
- stinging and burning in the eye and/or on the eyelid
- swelling
- red or bloodshot eyes
- itching
- pain
- rash
Pre-Treatment Guidance
To be able to provide you with the treatment, please ensure you follow the below guidelines:
- If you wear contact lenses, please remove them prior to your appointment.
- Please remove all products (such as makeup, mascara, false eyelashes, face creams, or sunscreen) from the eye area, using a gentle non oil-based cleanser. These can affect the adhesive bond and reduce lash retention.
- If you currently have eyelash extensions that were not applied by us, please schedule a removal service on your first visit. It is best to prevent the harm that comes with mixing various adhesives and materials with extensions from other salons.
Post-Treatment Guidance
For the best results, please ensure you follow the below guidelines:
- Avoid getting your eyelashes wet for 24 hours after application. After the 24 hour period, you are safe to shower again. When showering, don't position your head in the full strength of the water flow. Instead, let the water run down your face.
- Do not rub or touch your eyes.
- Clean with eyelash foam cleanser every 3 days.
- Brush through your eyelash tips every morning.
- Do not apply mascara. The product gets caught between the eyelashes and builds up. This may lead to premature eyelash loss.
- Do not use oil-based products around or on the eyes.
- Do not sleep on your face.
- Stay on top of your refills (recommended every 2-3 weeks).
Lash Lift & Tint
Possible Risks
There is the potential to have an allergic reaction to the products used during a lash lift. This could cause redness, swelling or rash.
It is recommended to only repeat a lash lift every 6-8 weeks, as more frequent treatment can overtreat the lashes and cause them to become brittle or thin.
Pre-Treatment Guidance
To be able to provide you with the treatment, please ensure you follow the below guidelines:
- Remove eye makeup, contact lenses and false eyelashes before your appointment.
- Avoid curling your natural lashes for at least 24 hours prior to treatment.
- If possible, stop using waterproof mascara 48 hours before your procedure, to avoid residue left on the lashes.
- If there is any indication of eye infection, or any other eye related condition, please wait until this is fully cleared before scheduling your treatment.
Post-Treatment Guidance
For the best results, please ensure you follow the below guidelines:
- Do not get your lashes wet for the first 24 hours after a lash lift. This includes showering, swimming, sauna and steam rooms.
- Avoid applying cosmetics and makeup for the first 24 hours post treatment.
- Try not to touch or rub the eyes, or pull on your eyelashes. It is vital to leave the lashes alone for the first 24 hours after a lash lift. This
is the settling period and interference during this period may affect the lift results. - Try not to sleep face down. This can affect the position of the lashes.
- Rebook a subsequent lash lift for 6 - 8 weeks time, to continue to have beautiful, hassle free lashes.
Brow Lamination
Possible Risks
There is some risk mostly related to skin irritation or allergic reaction caused by the chemicals. This can include swelling, redness, peeling, itching and/or bumps on the skin. The side effects may occur directly above and beneath the eyebrows, but they can also extend to the eyelids.
Brittle or damaged brow hair can occur if brow lamination is repeated too often. Please leave at least 6 weeks between treatments.
Pre-Treatment Guidance
To be able to provide you with the treatment, please ensure you follow the below guidelines:
- Avoid wearing makeup, or remove it prior to treatment.
- Inform your therapist of any previous irritation during brow procedures
Post-Treatment Guidance
For the best results, please ensure you follow the below guidelines:
- Redness and mild swelling is normal after your treatment.
- Avoid putting water on your brows for the first 24 hours.
- Gently brush your brows into position every day with a clean, dry spoolie, which will be suppled by your therapist.
- Do not apply any brow creams, serums or makeup for 48 hours after your brow lamination.
Brow Wax & Tint
Possible Risks
There is a risk of skin irritation or allergic reaction and this can be due to a number of things. Waxing can cause redness, swelling or irritation. There is also a possible risk of burns if the wax is too hot. It is also possible to react to chemicals within tinting products.
Pre-Treatment Guidance
To be able to provide you with the treatment, please ensure you follow the below guidelines:
- It is best to arrive to your appointment makeup-free. This includes foundation, eyeshadow and brow filler or powder.

Facial Treatment
Possible Risks

To be able to provide you with the treatment, please ensure you follow the below guidelines:

- Do not apply make-up for the rest of the day, following treatment. Let your skin stabilise and rest.
- Skip the gym. No sauna use or heavy sweating, as the increased heat in the skin and sweat can be irritating to freshly
exfoliated skin. - Avoid the sun and drink plenty of water.
